Conditions and Disabilities We Support
We work with participants across a wide range of disability types, including autism, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury (ABI), psychosocial disability, and complex physical conditions. We also support participants managing chronic health conditions alongside their disability, and those at risk of falls or functional decline.
How NDIS Funding Works With Us
We work across the Improved Daily Living (CB_Daily_Activity) and Improved Health and Wellbeing (CB_Hlth_Wl) funding lines, and can assist with functional capacity documentation to support your plan review. Plan-managed and self-managed participants are both welcome. If you’re not sure how your plan is managed or what’s covered, we’re happy to talk it through before your first session.
Getting Started
No formal paperwork is needed to make an initial enquiry — a quick call or email is enough. If you have a support coordinator, they’re welcome to reach out on your behalf. Most participants are seen within 1–2 weeks of first contact.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?
An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university-qualified allied health professional registered with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). AEPs design and deliver exercise-based interventions for people with chronic conditions, injuries, and disabilities.
Do I need a referral to see an AEP under my NDIS plan?
No formal referral is required for NDIS participants — you just need funding available in the relevant support category. A support coordinator or GP referral can help but isn’t essential to get started.
Can you visit me at home or in a SIL setting?
Yes. We offer home visits and on-site sessions within supported independent living (SIL) settings across South Brisbane, alongside gym-based and 1:1 clinic options.
